Not long on the island and I met a boat captain. We got to talking about the sunglasses he was wearing. Twenty years old and still going strong, Chinese made. He said they were ‘Raybans’, I couldn’t find an RB mark but found other quality stamping. I was impressed with the workmanship.
A few weeks later, I was informed that a screw had fallen out of the hinge. I was still impressed with the workmanship and the longevity of the product.
They’d probably fetch a ‘bit’, antique wise.
